Inclusion Works (formerly Into Rec) is a most unique service.

Inclusion Works is a Townsville based community organisation that helps build better communities through the inclusion of people with a disability. We link individuals with a disability into their defined "communities of interest", help build strong interdependent relationships within these communities, then when appropriate "fade out" to enable strong community based relationships to further evolve.

Inclusion Works is considered by many as unique in that as an organisation we "let go" of clients. We don’t wish to build relationships that are both ongoing and dependent on the service. We aim to build ongoing and interdependent relationships that are embedded in community.

Inclusion Works, over time has evolved in its own right. The following commentary on its history, mission, principles and practice strategies will reinforce further the uniqueness of Inclusion Works.
